xiaomi Redmi Y2 was first launched in the Indian smartphone market in June 2018. The smartphone features 5.99-inch HD screen with 720x1440 pixels of resolution. It measures 160.73 x77.26 x 8.1 mm and weighs 170 grams.
Xiaomi Redmi Y2 runs on Android v8.1 (Oreo) operating system. It is powered by Octa core processer, clocked at 2 GHz speed and Cortex A53. The Redmi Y2 phone supports two Nano SIMs at a time and packs a battery capacity of 3080 mAh. For photos, the smartphone has 12 MP rear camera and an artificial intelligence-based selfie camera of 16-megapixel, with a f/2.0 aperture and sensor HDR. For beautification, the camera has AI Beauty 4.0.
Redmi Y2 comes in variants with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 256GB. The connectivity options in the smartphone include Hotspot, Bluetooth, 
Wi-Fi, GPS and 2G, 3G and 4G network type.
